During the classes, students will embark on a journey through the world of early animation and learn how the impression of movement was created even before the advent of cinema.

preschool–2nd grade students will get acquainted with the miriorama - an ancient device for displaying stories and images, with the help of which the educator will present the beginning of cinema and the first experiments with moving images. Children will also try out optical toys - a zoetrope, a praxinoscope and a thaumatrope - and see how static drawings can come to life.

Students in grades 3–12 They will delve into the principles of animation, test the zoetrope and praxinoscope, and later create their own thaumatropes and draw strips for the zoetrope or praxinoscope.
