The program of "Learning from Cinema" includes films from major film festivals, films with educational potential specially selected by distributors, and works by Lithuanian filmmakers. The program's repertoire is full of educational films for pupils of all ages. Discussions after the screening are possible – students, while watching the film with the whole class will each experience something personal, but all together they will be sharing a common experience. The film becomes like a third person, something between ‘I’ and ‘You’, which is easier to talk about. In this way, pupils can share more openly the evoked emotions and the themes discussed in the film, which may be friendship, identity, family issues or topics that may be difficult for a pupil to talk about through personal experience.
The educational program is included in the Culture Passport platform.
