We would like to sincerely thank you, dear educators, for your cooperation. Your and your students' attendance at the Kaunas Film Center "Romuvaja" allows us to create meaningful encounters with stories - funny and sensitive, animated and documentary, helping us see the world more broadly and sensitively.
As a small token of gratitude during the holiday season, we invite you to a free movie screening of the film "A Hard Age." This is our way of saying thank you for the hundreds of hours spent together, for your dedication, curiosity, and daily work in educating the younger generation.
We look forward to your fellowship at the cinema - where stories heal, inspire, and bring us closer.

About the movie "A difficult age" (N-13):
Andrey Speckaten had just turned fifteen. At first glance, he seemed like a happy teenager – he studied well, had a close relationship with his parents, and dreamed of a future. However, under this external radiance, a painful everyday life was hidden: bullying at school and humiliating comments online gradually weighed on Andrey more and more. Only after his death, his mother, after reviewing her son’s Facebook account, understood what he had experienced.
Inspired by true events, the film sensitively conveys both the moments of sincere connection between family and friends, as well as the confusion, anger, anxiety, and universal desire to remain oneself and at the same time be understood, characteristic of adolescence. The story, told in Andrei's voice, becomes a sensitive testimony to the fragility of adolescence and at the same time a warning - even our smallest words and gestures can have incredible power.
