We declare May as the month of cinema and invite you to go to the cinema, watch movies, discuss, create animated short films or play a movie mind battle! For the month of May, we even have some special offers for schools to make cinema visits even more memorable.
Discussion after the movie screening with gifts
We are giving away a discussion after the session to those who have attended the "I learn from the movies" sessions with 50 or more students throughout May! The film educator will discuss the film's theme, film language, the story seen in the film and the characters together with the students.
The format of the discussion is chosen based on the number and age of the students present. The duration of the discussion is 30 minutes.
Movie screening for your school
The school with the most number of students attending film screenings or film educations between May 2-31 will be given a "Learning from Cinema" session for the month of June!
We will inform the school that won the session on June 3, the date and time of the session will be coordinated. The movie screening will be organized in the Great Hall of Kaunas Cinema Center "Romuva".
We give away a movie session or cards for discussing the movie
We are glad that schools see film education as a meaningful means of getting students interested in various social and historical topics, broadening the students' worldview. To express our gratitude, we established prizes for the schools with the most attendance during this school year:
- We are giving a movie screening of the chosen film to the school that brought 1 students to film education.
- We give cards for film discussion to the school that brought 500 students to film education.
Winning schools will be contacted on June 3. In the campaign, the attendance of schoolchildren in 2023 is calculated. September 1 - in 2024 May 31 The movie screening will be organized in the Great Hall of Kaunas Cinema Center "Romuva".
