A call for submissions of student films to the free-theme competition program of the second National Student Film Festival "Aurora" - "Discoveries". The festival is looking for feature, documentary, experimental, animated films and music videos from 1 to 20 min. in length created by students studying in Lithuanian schools up to the age of 19. Film submissions are open until 18 January 2026 (inclusive). Film submissions are free of charge.
The films selected for the competition program and their creators will be nominated in three categories: best film of the competition program "Discoveries", best work of the cinematographer and best work of the editor. The winners will be selected by the Aurora festival jury, consisting of Lithuanian film industry professionals.
The main events of the festival will take place on April 17–18, 2026 in various cultural spaces of Vilnius. The winners of the festival will be announced during the festive festival awards ceremony on April 18, 2026.

The National Student Film Festival "Aurora" is the largest student film festival in Lithuania, dedicated to school-age creators, connecting educational, cultural and film communities.
