Closing of the outdoor cinema with Golden Parazyth

ATTENTION! Venue: NKDT Small Stages Yard (Kęstučio St. 62). In case of unfavorable weather (strong wind, rain), the event will move to the Great Hall of the "Romuva" cinema (Laisvės al. 54).

We invite you to enjoy the 10th anniversary outdoor cinema season in a cozy atmosphere - with live music and a film program specially created for this evening. The event will begin with a performance by “Golden Parazyth”, in which well-known songs will sound sensitively, acoustically, but at the same time with the energy characteristic of the performer. After the concert, the audience will be able to see the Lithuanian short film program “Short Films. Favorites of the Decade”, prepared from the best-rated films by creators who are increasingly earning recognition.

The event program:
19:00 p.m. – Golden Parazyth acoustic performance;
20:00 p.m. - a break;
20:30 p.m. – screening of the film program (146 min.).

About Golden Parazyth. The artist, who has been performing for almost 20 years, began his career in Kaunas in 2006! This time, Golden Parazyth will perform an acoustic program, accompanied by the wonderful guitarist and band member Tadas Daumantas.

About the film program. "Short Film. Favorites of the Decade" is a unique opportunity to see the most outstanding Lithuanian short films of the last decade in one screening. They have toured prestigious film festivals and won awards all over the world, and the names of these directors have been heard in Cannes, Belém, Venice, and Locarno.

A butterfly born on a private farm is sold to become an event decoration. His journey to the concert hall reflects a creature of nature trying to survive in modern society.

Forest

An old, reclusive naturalist sets out to capture a mythical nocturnal forest dweller to fill his exclusive collection. The naturalist sets a trap, but soon finds himself in a sticky situation.

Mother's Day

On Mother's Day, sixteen-year-old Nerka and his friends steal flowers to give as gifts. However, this year his mother has disappeared, having lost the right to raise him. Convinced of her innocence, Nerka sets out to find her.

Restoration

The pre-trial investigation officer leads the examination of evidence at the crime scene, during which the accused presents his version of events.

The Juggler

We live in the same house, but in different apartments, jobs, situations, deceiving ourselves that the world is one. This film is about the other side of life - the frightening, unknown, which we never fully grasp.

Limousine

Unrelated people riding in limousines are united by a common goal of their journey - the unknown.

The one who knows

Ła is a shy and insecure teenager who likes to swim. During a routine workout, the girl gets involved in an unexpected adventure that helps her mature, accept herself and see her body in a new way.

Techno, Mom
dir. Saulius Baradinskas, Lithuania, 2021, Drama, 18 min.

Nikita loves listening to techno music and dreams of going to Berlin and visiting the famous club ‘Berghain’. His mother Irena doesn’t know about her son’s dreams and soon enough their mutual expectations will clash.

The program was prepared by the Lithuanian short film agency "Lithuanian Shorts" together with the Vilnius Short Film Festival.
