A shy music store employee, Bear, has been secretly in love with his childhood friend and colleague, Niki, for a long time, but he never dares to admit it to her. While looking for a gift, he finds a mysterious wand that can grant one wish. Craving Niki's love, Bear makes a wish: for her to love him more than anyone else in the world.
At first, the wish seems to come true perfectly. Niki becomes incredibly attached to him, but her feelings soon turn into a dangerous obsession. As her behavior becomes increasingly disturbing and even dangerous, Bear realizes that his spoken wish has awakened forces much darker than he could have imagined.
The film explores the limits of love, desire, and obsession, and the price one pays when trying to control another person's feelings.
