In the spring of 2022, a forgotten photographic treasure was discovered in Lithuania – 80 negatives that had been hidden in the museum archives for more than 840 years. The documentary tells the story of the persistent museum researchers, whose patience and stubbornness resurrect the past, leading us through the labyrinths of the archives, where each answer gives rise to new questions. It is a journey to the times when wooden houses still stood in Kaunas, and the slopes of Žaliakalnis resembled a favela slum. Photographer Antanas Ingelevičius captured the city, its people and everyday life, performances of the first Lithuanian Theater and moments of the life of Kaunas bohemians.
