Beekeeper Teddy (Jesse Plemons) is convinced that Michelle (Emma Stone), the head of a large pharmaceutical corporation, is not human, but an alien who plans to destroy humanity. Together with an accomplice, he kidnaps the woman and begins to torture her, hoping to extract the truth. But is this "truth" just the fruit of his own paranoia?
The further we go, the clearer it becomes that this seemingly absurd plan hides a much deeper psychological and social tragedy - under the pressure of capitalism, man loses his sense of reality and resorts to crazy decisions. When the line between fantasy and reality begins to disappear, a grotesque, tense game begins, in which nothing is what it seems.
The film is based on the South Korean cult thriller "Save the Green Planet!".
