During the camp, children will create a joint film - they will capture moments from the camp, create short reports, and test the principles of documentary. During the creative process, they will learn to tell stories through images, work in a team, and get to know different film professions up close.
The program also includes practical film education. In lighting workshops, participants will explore how lighting creates mood, in sound workshops they will experiment with sound creation, and in film illusion activities they will learn how the impression of movement is created. Creativity will be complemented by a poster workshop, where children will create visual solutions for their own films.
The camp will also feature film screenings – “Bintė”, “Hello, Frida!” and “I Will Be Brave Tomorrow”. After the screenings, the children will discuss the stories they saw, discuss the characters’ choices, emotions and the film’s expression. On the last day, participants will try their hand at a fun film quiz, allowing them to test their acquired knowledge.
Camp shifts for children aged 11-14:
2026-06-22 – 2026-06-26 IMPORTANT – the camp on the 24th WILL NOT BE HELD! from 10:00 a.m. to 15:00 a.m.
2026-07-20 – 23-07-2026 daily from 10:00 to 15:00.
During the camp, participants will only be offered light snacks, so we invite you to bring your favorite snacks according to your needs. If necessary, there will be an opportunity to warm up your food on site.
