On November 2, we invite you to a colorful event inspired by the Mexican Day of the Dead. A pair of dancers from the Mexican folkloric dance club "Cielito Lindo" will welcome you in the decorated "Romuvos" lounge, and the team of the "Xampany" bar will be located here, inviting you to purchase exotic cocktails. Before the screening of one of the most beautiful cartoons of the last decade, "Koko", members of the Mexican community in Lithuania will tell about the traditions of this holiday, and live songs performed by Diego Robledo will be heard.

We invite you to look for inspiration in the film footage and dress up to make the event even more memorable!

The event program:
18:00 p.m. – audience trust in the cinema hall;
18:30 p.m. – stories about the Day of the Dead and Mexican songs;
19:00 p.m. - screening of the movie "Koko".

About the movie. Once a year our ancestors return to our world to see their families and friends once again. But no one had ever visited their world, the world of the dead. Until now. Despite his family's strict ban on being interested in music, twelve-year-old Miguel cannot resist the enchanting magic of music. He dreams of becoming a famous musician and singer, just like his idol, Ernesto de la Cruz. Aiming to prove his talent at any cost, Miguel and his dog Dante unexpectedly end up in a mysterious place. It turns out that this is the world of the dead, where Miguel will finally find out the old secret of his family, why music has become the most terrible taboo in their family since time immemorial.

We are all part of what came before us. An exciting animated musical adventure story, Koko is about life and death, family and those family members we no longer remember but are all part of our family.

About the artist.  Diego Robledo is a versatile and passionate musician with a wealth of experience that crosses genres and cultures. His repertoire includes both traditional music and original compositions. Diego appreciates the fact that music unites people, creates a deep connection with listeners.

About dancers. Cielito Lindo is a Mexican folkloric dance group of passionate dancers who share joy, culture and tradition through movement.
