Plastic pistols

In a morgue, two pathologists are talking over an autopsied body, discussing Netflix crime series and how much brutality each viewer "consumes". At the airport, a detective preparing for a vacation with his family is convinced that he has seen the long-wanted serial killer Paul Bernardin - it is about him that the whole merry-go-round of this film revolves, because after he killed his wife and children and evaporated like a fog, everyone began to look for him, even two local women marpl - Leja and Kristine. These two amateur sleuths have even been awarded Facebook Research Diplomas! While the women are digging into the details, a Big Lebowski-like man is arrested in Denmark, who is believed to be the real killer, while in Argentina, a man in a white suit as if he stepped out of Visconti's "Death in Venice" to the sound of Mahler's symphony no. 5, falls in love with a young Argentinian woman and immediately marries. On the surface, everything seems chaotic, but...

Inspired by one of the most famous murders in France in recent years, director Jean-Christophe Meurisse has created a truly macabre comedy that mocks the chaos unfolding not only in his country, but around the world. Using surrealism, comedy and farce, he asks why we are so attracted to violence and brutality, and shows that everything that happens around us today is just a prop - not only guns are plastic, but also politics, plastic and correctness, so are people, and interpersonal relationships. If you are impressed by the humor of "Monty Python", which is on the border of bad taste, and don't mind the graphic violence of Tarantino or the Coens, this movie is just for you!
