Why are artworks stolen? For money or sincere love of art? Desperate for an answer to why two of her paintings were stolen, a Czech artist finds and befriends their thief. After inviting him to pose for a portrait, the two develop an incredible friendship and an unbreakable bond that will bond these two lonely souls together forever. Before starting the shoot, which lasted more than three years, the director could not have imagined that the story would turn out the way we see it on the screen. Watching the film, it's hard to believe it's a documentary.
"The film, in which the problems of the elite art world and society's marginals collide, is constructed as a Scandinavian detective story with a tense plot. It is extremely interesting to watch also because the main characters are very open and multi-layered, full of passion for life." (Aistė Račaitytė)
