National Competition Program I

"The theme of memory resonates in this program from different angles: in several films, directly - reconstructing past events and trying to understand their impact on today, in others - focusing more on situations that, even if you try very hard, you cannot erase from your memory. Laughter and tears, funerals and the New Year, an oak park and an apartment full of flowers will invite you to get to know what Lithuanian filmmakers care about." - Mantė Valiūnaitė, creator of the competition programs.
