"Rising Cinema: a new generation of European film ambassadors" invites you to be heard

Are you a movie buff who wants to see all the rated and underrated movies for yourself? Do you share insights about movies you've seen with your friends and family? Are you 15-25 years old?

If you answered yes, then this invitation is for you! We invite you to participate in film training for young people. In the half-year program, you will be able to get to know European cinema better and learn different ways to express your opinion in an interesting and meaningful way. At the end of the project, I will try my hand at being a film programmer by making a program of three films.

During the project, participants will be able to better understand the principles of the film industry, learn film history, write their reviews and voice them in a special podcast. In addition, all young film ambassadors will be able to watch the films shown in the Romuva cinema for free, a special program of European film classics and the most interesting films by the most interesting contemporary directors created for this project, and at the end of the course they will present their own curated film series. During the training, young people will be able to gain experience from such specialists as: Dominykas Klajumas (comedian and creator of popular podcasts), Jurgita Gerdvilaitė (cinema artist), Silvija Butkutė (artist and co-author of the "Cinema Bang Bang" portal), Gediminas Jankauskas (teacher, film historian and critic), Liutauras Elkimavičius (producer, film reviewer), Justė Vyšniauskaitė (head of Romuva's film programs).

Join, learn, watch and be heard!
