"Romuvos" outdoor cinema invites you to enjoy quality movies under the open sky

The seventh "Romuva" outdoor cinema season started on June 3rd! The warming weather once again allows Kaunas and city guests to enjoy films of high artistic quality in the open air. This year, the outdoor cinema takes place in the familiar courtyard of the Lithuanian Museum of Education History, where a Japanese garden has been established.

Sessions are held daily Tuesday through Saturday, weather permitting. This year's good news is that in case of rain or strong wind, the screenings are moved to the Great Hall of the "Romuva" cinema, so the audience can see the films they want in any case.

"Stricter film critics and lovers would probably be inclined to say that movies should be watched in a dark room, without snacks, drinks and conversations. Although some art films really require such an environment, we believe that in the summertime, viewers want a bit more upbeat content and events. Therefore, we are happy to continue the tradition of Romuvas outdoor cinema, which gives every screening a special atmosphere and allows you to enjoy both good films and summer weather at the same time," said Justė Vyšniauskaitė, the organizer of Romuvas cinema programs.

This season, in the open-air cinema, the audience will be able to see acclaimed films that won the hearts of the audience, such as "The Worst Man in the World", "The Bravest" and "The Good Boss", as well as the premiere of independent film studios, including the ever-surprising "A24", the premiere and cinema the classics.
