"Romuva" cinema house invites young people to spend two days of autumn vacation in a day film camp! The camp is designed for young film lovers who want to explore the world of cinema in a fun and exciting way by creating animated films, trying out optical toys that create the illusion of cinema and recording a podcast.
During the animation workshop, camp participants will create stories for short animated films, and they will make characters and all the necessary props from cardboard or plasticine. After learning the technique of stop-motion animation, they will use tablets to photograph the characters, thus bringing them to life.
The first devices depicting motion - zoetrope, praxinoscope, phenakistoscope - will help you learn about the history of cinema. After trying them, the camp participants will be able to make their own thaumatrope.
The movie "Fighter", which the camp participants will see at a private screening, will invite you to learn about friendship, self-confidence and the desire for stubbornness. After watching the film, there will be fun games to help discuss the film. Sharing thoughts about movies is just as important as creating them - participants will try their hand at recording their first podcast - a review of the movie they've seen.
