October 25 we invite 6-12 kl. students to a live painting workshop with pop culture artist from the USA Scott Hattox.

During the workshop, the artist will live draw the plot from well-known science fiction or animation films - "Star Wars", "Marvel", "Anime". The students will be introduced to the creator's special technique and invited to finish painting the picture they started together with him, which will be donated to the Kaunas Cinema Center "Romuva". The author is happy to talk and answer any questions about superheroes of popular culture or the intricacies of filmmaking - Scott is a walking encyclopedia of these fantasy operas and calls himself a true fan freak. nerd).

About Scott Hattox

Scott Hattox, who lives in California, USA, has been surrounded by comics, animation and science fiction all his life, the themes that dominate his work.
The specialty of his art is painting large-scale paintings of iconic characters, heroes and superheroes. Today this is a real rarity, as most artists working in the field of popular culture and art are moving away from classical painting techniques and doing a lot digitally. Scott, meanwhile, prefers gouache on paper and acrylic on canvas.

Scott Hattox attends the world's most famous popular culture exhibition, Comic-Con. During the exhibitions, he attracts visitors not only with his original and intriguing works, but also with his open communication and sharing with the audience his enthusiasm, from the thinness of the brush to discussing the details of space operas.

Scott Hattox's work has been selected from among 222 other artists and creators from around the world, whose artwork will be flown to the moon later this year on Nasa's Space X Falcon 9 spacecraft - the first art museum in the galaxy, Lunaprice! By the way, his works created in Lithuania, Kaunas in 2022 are also traveling to the first Moon Museum. in the No-Fly Zone open-air gallery. This is confirmed by the Space Blue certificate issued to the artist.
