This is the story of a special boy, Joseph, who is hiding a big secret. His heart is protected by a hood and thick armor. Joseph's world is a self-built insect hotel and its inhabitants in an old mansion. One day, Rugilė, a newcomer, moves into town, and Joosep's life turns upside down. Thanks to Rugilė, Joseph overcomes his fear and becomes open to the world. Friendship works wonders and grows wings!
Butterfly Heart has already been selected for more than 20 international film festivals and won awards in Belgium and France. The film is inspired by the book "Special" by Modesta Jurgaitytė.
