A fishing boat sinks under mysterious circumstances in the North Sea. People whisper that the captain is to blame, but his teenage daughter Lena suspects that the ship sank by accident. No one believes her, not even her best friend Kaz. When Lena sees a huge shadow gliding across the surface of the sea, the girl sets out to prove that an unknown, menacing sea creature roams the depths.
