Hope is what keeps you going even when the world seems to be falling apart. There is a shortage of food on the exhausted planet earth. 13-year-old Vesper does not give up - she takes care of her seriously ill father at home, and conducts biological experiments in the depths of the forest. The world needs an invention to help feed humanity. A fateful encounter inspires Vesper to gather strength, wits and brains to achieve her goal.
